Black Beauty from Botswana
Our bead repository includes several highly prized semi-precious stones – including some beautiful pieces of highly polished black agate – often referred to as banded agate from Botswana, a land-locked country in Southern Africa.
The fine and rigid bandings and patterns on the stone make the Botswana-agate both unique and sought-after by collectors and beaders alike.
In this collection, the package contains six pieces of flat oval pendant pieces which lend themselves as stunning ingredients for that special necklace or Boho-styled bracelet you’ve been planning to create!
This semi-precious stone is believed to be quite spiritual and an excellent healing source which helps balances your physical, emotional, and intellectual energies.
Sources also claim that this agate assists in overcoming fear and panic attacks and enhances self-confidence and a sense of security.
That said, the Botswanan agate pieces in this collection have been heavily discounted and now work out to cost roughly $5 each and belong in your jewellery-making box. All contain a decent 1-1.5mm centre-drill hole which is suitable for threading with beading thread, Tigertail or craftline (like fishing line).
The accompanying photos illustrate what to expect in your order. But please be mindful that from time to time there may be some minor variations depending on availability.
Larger discounted quantities available on request, while stocks last.
