An interesting collection of five different types of gold and antique silver coin charms often used in costume jewellery, belly dancing outfits and more unusual jewellery making pieces. Often, they’re suspended off an anklet, bracelet or necklace.

These Egyptian-styled coins, which come in 12mm, 13mm, 15mm, 18mm and 22mm sizes, are made from lightweight aluminium and tin metals, with an embossed stamping depicting global realms such as Egyptian, Roman and Indian era.

The coins, which all have a 1mm hole for hanging, are popular among the bell dancers because when assembled, the coins are pretty noisy as they jingle together during a dance routine.

Works out that each coin costs averages around $0.07 each.
