This collection of unpolished 2.5x2-4mm semi-precious jade cylinder tube beads, would make a worthy addition to any beaders collection - particularly those who have an interest in creating delicate ethnic-style tribal jewellery – similar to jewellery created by the nomadic people of the Middle East.
This collection comprises six strands measuring between 14 -16 inches in length and contain approximately 168 tiny jade tube beads per strand.
About 1008 individual beads make up the six strands.
Six strands of fine tube-shaped green Jade beads – processed in Afghanistan but unearthed in the Himalayan region of Henan in northern China.
Jade has often been referred to as the ‘Imperial Gem’ throughout the far east, and because of the stone’s reverence in Asia throughout the centuries, jade has been used, not only to create many “utilitarian and ceremonial objects, from indoor decorative items to jade burial suits”, it has been used to create some of the finest jewellery.
The entire collection will certainly add to many exciting jewellery prospects – and will become the ideal ingredients to incorporate into your necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.
The collection weighs in at 20 grams.
