And now for something completely different.

A collection of approximately 110 assorted big, black, bold, and beautiful glass beads that may offer an exciting new canvas for paint brush artists.

The beads are also perfect ingredients for making large, oversized, and chunky jewellery, eye-catching hangers, or bead curtains.

The collection comprises 14 shapes, including diamonds, hearts, slabs, flowers, gourds, twists, cylinders, and tiles.

Each bead measures between 10mm and 60mm, and, depending on size, come with a large 1.5mm-3mm centre-drill hole which makes them suitable for most threading materials such as leather, tigertail, wire, or fishing line.

For those so inclined, the beads come alive when splashes of vibrant colours are applied to the mostly flat surfaces, as the attached photographs illustrate.

Either acrylic or oil paint are suitable to use in dressing up the beads – or keep them black to provide contrast to your work.

For beaders familiar with the Margaret River Beads range, this collection of unpainted jet black glass beads is identical in shape to their popular Indian cousins in the Silver Foil range.

The accompanying photos have been enlarged to illustrate detail and to illustrate what to expect in your order.
