Here we have a small collection of 14 four-sided polished barrel-shaped carnelian beads – that could become an asset in your jewellery-making journey.

In other words, these semi-precious beads belong in your bead box if you’ve a yen to create some impressive boho, tribal or ethnic-style jewellery.

And if that’s the case, the creation of your necklace, earrings, bracelet, anklet or any other type of jewellery - is only limited by your imagination.

Carnelian, a popular semi-precious stone is generally rich in orange colour – contains several healing properties.

The early Egyptians believed wearing carnelian ‘added a sense of vitality to the spirit and body”, while others believe carnelian is an excellent healing crystal with qualities which can assist in enhancing vitality.

The majority of the world’s carnelian today comes from Germany, Brazil, India, Australia, and among others Mexico.

The beads in this collection weigh it at about 21 grams – costing $1.00 each.

And each bead contains a decent 1-1.5mm centre-drill hole which is suitable for threading Tigertail or craftline (like fishing line).  The accompanying photos illustrate what to expect in your order, though images may have been enlarged to show detail, and colours may vary slightly due to lighting variants.
