An interesting collection of 11 old one, five, six, seven and 10-eye Afghan Blackstone pipe and tube pendants reputed to be the creations of artisans living in the northern regions of Afghanistan and having spiritual significance and value attached to the number of circles (eyes) on each stone which is not too dissimilar to the dZi beads from the Himalayas.

If the Asian interpretations are correct, the one-eye pipe pendants are regarded as a symbol of light and hope which enhances human wisdom and brings forth happiness for life; the six-eye pendants represent the elimination of sadness and suffering and will help to eliminate six negative elements – misery, aggression, losses, carelessness, ignorance and anger.

While the seven eye pendants are believed to encourage success, health, wealth, longevity, a happy marriage and harmony.

The 10-eye pipe pendants are a symbol of perfection and enhance success in life.
