Here we have a unique collection of three antique round coral beads from Burma – now referred to as Myanmar.
They measure between 18-26mm – and all contain a traditional end capping of hammered sterling silver with an attractive embossed floral design.
A worthy trio for the adventurous beader – bursting with an enviable dose of antiquity – and offering sheer natural beauty.
And this is where the imagination for creativity creeps in!!
Coupled with other beads from your own bead collection, these one-of-a-kind coral beads would work exceptionally well incorporated into an ethnic or tribal-inspired piece of jewellery such as a necklace or bracelet.
The three beads in this collection weigh in at about 40 grams.
The beads contain a decent 1.5-2.5mm top-drill hole which is suitable for threading with round leather, Tigertail or craftline (similar to fishing line).
