And now for something completely different.
Here we have a collection of four small hand carved stone pendants – intricately carved to depict striking faces.
The all vary in size: 1 - 2x2.5mm – four face profile; 1 – 1.5x3mm – two-sided man in the moon profile; 1.5x3mm – three-head profile, and a 1.5x3mm triangular Brahma head profile.
All four pendants, (often called amulets or a protection talisman) come complete with a 2mm leather threading hole, and a central seeing eye symbol.
The pieces have been carved by Southern Indian artisans in soapstone and rhodonite.
Each piece weighs about five grams.
They would all make excellent necklace centre pieces.
They could also be utilised as a single earring.
Regardless, the pieces allow for optimum creativity and temper exciting jewellery prospects
