This collection comprises of five unpolished semi-precious pieces crudely carved to resemble fish – using blue lapis lazuli, brownish jasper and pale green jade stones.

The lapis fish measures 17x28mm, a single jade fish measures 26x31mm, while the remaining three jasper fish measure 22x27mm.

Tribal and ethnic in every sense, these rare handmade beads have been crafted by the nomadic ethnic people native to Central Asia and living mainly in Turkmenistan and the northeastern regions of Afghanistan and Iran.

And there’s no question they can be used to create amazing ethnic-style tribal jewellery items such as necklaces, bracelets or even an ankle bangle.

Regardless, this collection is a must-have for serious beaders who have been inspired by the people of the Middle East.  

All our fish beads contain a decent 1-2mm centre-drill hole which is suitable for threading with round leather, Tigertail, or Craftline (similar to fishing line).
